Some of the photos weren't recreated, because it's not possible, would be hard to achieve, or there's just no point. However, the photographs are still interesting and give us a glimpse of how the past, and even people, looked. Part of the pictures are relatively new and for many they bring up memories of their childhood and youth, but for the new generations, the 20th century is something unfamiliar!
